Tuck-In

Tuck-In is Storytime's bedtime ritual. Open it with Tuck-in in the bottom bar. Littles and caregivers see different versions of this page.

For littles

At bedtime, tap Begin tonight's tuck-in. The screen gets dark and cozy, your goodnight message plays, and you can tap to blow kisses.

For littles​

Let your caregiver tuck you in​

Caregiver tuck-ins are off until you turn them on.

  1. Open Tuck-in.
  2. Turn on Let my caregiver tuck me in.

When it is on, your linked caregiver can leave goodnight messages that play at lights-out. They can also read your saved dreams so they can record one in their own voice for you. Turn it off at any time: their messages stop and they can no longer read your dreams.

Begin tonight's tuck-in​

  1. When a message is ready, tap Begin tonight's tuck-in.
  2. The screen dims and tonight's goodnight message plays.
  3. Tap to blow goodnight kisses. Your caregiver can see how many kisses you sent.
  4. When you are ready, tap One more story to go back to Dreamweaver for a sleepy dream, or head to Vibe's sleep sounds.

Each night you tuck in grows your streak moon. The page shows your current run and your best run.

Tuck yourself in​

You can write your own goodnight note, even without a caregiver.

  1. Under tuck yourself in, tap Write a goodnight note.
  2. Tap one of the ready-made kind words, or write your own.
  3. Tap Save goodnight note.

Free members keep one active note: your newest note replaces the last one. Pro and Premium members can keep a library of notes. Your notes are listed under Goodnight messages, where you can turn each one on or off, or delete it.

Stories read in your caregiver's voice​

If your caregiver has recorded themselves reading one of your dreams, it appears on the Tuck-In page. You can also play it from inside that dream in the reader with the In (your caregiver's) voice button.

For caregivers​

The caregiver Tuck-In page works for littles you are linked to on CaregiverBabyHub. If you have more than one, pick a little at the top. A lock next to a name means that little has not turned on Let my caregiver tuck me in yet. Tuck-ins are opt-in for the little's comfort and safety, so ask them to turn it on.

Send a goodnight message​

  1. Pick your little.
  2. Choose a text message, or Say it to record your voice. Voice messages (up to 3 minutes) are for Pro and Premium members.
  3. Write or record your message.
  4. Choose Every night or Certain nights and pick the nights.
  5. Tap Tuck them in. The message plays at your little's lights-out on the nights you chose.

On the free plan, saving a new message replaces your current one for that little. Pro and Premium members keep a library of tuck-ins and can turn each one on or off. Your messages are listed under Your tuck-ins.

Your voice stays private. Only your linked little can play it.

Read one of their dreams aloud​

  1. Under read (your little) one of their dreams, pick one of their saved dreams.
  2. Record yourself reading it.
  3. Tap Send them your reading.

Your little can then play your reading from Tuck-In or from inside that dream. Tap Remove to take a reading away.

Dedicate a story​

A story dedication asks Dreamweaver to make your little's next dream about something you choose.

  1. Tap Dedicate a story.
  2. Pick a theme, such as A brave little adventure, Extra cuddles or For a worried heart, or Let them choose.
  3. Write a short note. Your little reads it before the story begins.
  4. Tap Send the dedication.

Your little sees A story was made just for you on their Dreamweaver home page and can weave it into their next dream.

See their kisses​

Goodnight kisses from (your little) shows the kisses your little blew at lights-out.

Live Tuck-In Room​

A Live Tuck-In Room lets a caregiver read a story to their little in real time, with both screens in step.

Caregivers:

  1. On the Tuck-In page, pick your little and tap Open a live tuck-in room.
  2. Your little gets an invite with a five-letter room code.
  3. Choose tonight's story from their saved dreams, or weave a fresh one.
  4. Turn the pages at your own pace. You can also set the background sounds, dim both screens and send kisses.
  5. Tap Goodnight — end the tuck-in when you are done.

Littles:

  1. Tap Live Tuck-In Room on the Tuck-In page.
  2. Type the five-letter code from the invite and join.
  3. Relax and listen. The pages turn by themselves.

Rooms use only the free soundscapes, so both of you always hear the same thing.
