Comfort & Connection
The Connect page at /connect ("๐ Comfort & Connection") is the emotional heart-line between a little and their caregiver โ a soft place to reach out, be heard, and feel close even when you're apart. It's not about tasks or rules; it's purely about comfort.
๐ผ The little's sideโ
๐ "I need you"โ
One big button for the moments words are hard. Tap it and your caregiver gets an immediate, unmissable alert in their inbox that you need them. No explanation required โ the button is the message.
๐ Mood check-inโ
A quick emoji check-in for how you're feeling right now, with an optional note. Check-ins build a little log your caregiver can see โ and if you check in feeling low, your caregiver gets a gentle heads-up in their inbox automatically.
๐ Heartbeat squeezeโ
A tiny, wordless "thinking of you" โ send a squeeze and your person feels it on their side. It goes both ways.
๐๏ธ Voice notesโ
When you're linked, you and your caregiver can leave each other voice notes โ hearing your person's actual voice hits different than text, especially deep in littlespace or at bedtime.
๐ The caregiver's sideโ
Caregivers see the same page from the other direction:
- Recent moods digest โ your little's latest mood check-ins at a glance, with notes and timestamps, so you can spot a rough patch early.
- Voice notes โ record comfort, praise, or a bedtime message they can replay any time.
- Heartbeat squeeze โ squeeze back.
Whenever your little taps "I need you" or checks in feeling low, it arrives in your inbox โ you'll never miss it.
Not linked yet?โ
The page still works solo โ you can check in with your moods and use the comfort tools for yourself. A Bring Your Person card sits at the top for inviting a partner to join you; once you're linked, the voice notes and caregiver alerts light up.
Littles: check in even on good days! Mood logs aren't just for hard moments โ a trail of happy check-ins is a lovely thing for your caregiver to scroll, and it makes the low ones easier to spot and respond to.
