🤝 Linking with your caregiver or little

Linking connects a little's account to a caregiver's account. Once you're linked, the caregiver can look after the little's rules, chores, and day, and the two of you share a corner of the site.

You don't need to link to use CaregiverBabyHub. Most of the site works on your own, and nothing you've set up goes away when you link.

Linking happens on the Caregiver page: 📱 My Dynamic → 🤝 Caregiver (called Big Person in baby mode), at caregiverbabyhub.com/caregiver. Its first tab is 🔗 Caregiver Connection.

For littles

Make a code on the Caregiver page and give it to your caregiver. When they type it in, you're linked!

The little makes the code and the caregiver enters it.

If you're the little:

  1. Open 🤝 Caregiver.
  2. Under 🧸 Share your code, tap Generate Pairing Code.
  3. Give the 8-character code to your caregiver. Tap ↺ New if you need a fresh one.

If you're the caregiver:

  1. Open 🤝 Caregiver.
  2. Under 💛 Enter your little's code, type the code.
  3. Tap Link with Caregiver 🔗.

You'll both see that you're linked. If the code doesn't work, you'll see "Invalid or expired code." Ask for a new one.

Switches​

If your role is Switch, you see both boxes. Share your code to be cared for, or enter someone's code to care for them.

Your role must be set​

The page needs your role to be little, caregiver, or switch. If it isn't, you'll see a note pointing you to My Account. See Your account and profile.

Signing up from an invite​

If someone sends you an invite link with their pairing code, sign up from that link. Your accounts link automatically once your new account is confirmed.

What linking adds​

For a caregiver, the Caregiver page becomes your console for your little: their chores and rules, diaper checks, punishments and appeals, their journal to read and reply to, and a shared Us corner. New tabs appear: ⚙️ Baby Overview, 📓 Journal, and 📊 History.

For a little, your caregiver can set and lock your rules, send checks and notes, reply to your journal, and share an Us corner with you.

Both of you get the 💞 Us tab, your shared corner with weekly pulses, an appreciation jar, and care cards for each other.

More than one little​

A caregiver can be linked to more than one little. Each little gets their own card on the Caregiver page. Pick which little you're looking after, and the caregiver tools follow that choice.

Limits on what a caregiver can do​

What a linked caregiver can do (edit rules, issue punishments, request diaper checks, manage rewards) follows the little's permissions. If something isn't allowed, the caregiver sees a message like "You don't have permission to issue punishments for this little." Permissions live in Dynamic Settings.

Parental controls and community access also live in Dynamic Settings now.

Either of you can end the link at any time.

  1. Open 🤝 Caregiver.
  2. On the card for the person you're linked with, tap the 🔓 Unlink button.
  3. Read the message and tap End the link, or Keep us linked to change your mind.

What happens:

  • The other person is told, and you stop being connected right away.
  • Rules the caregiver set stop being locked and become the little's to edit. The list stays exactly as it was.
  • Nothing is deleted. Journals, trackers, photos, notes, and everything either of you wrote stay on both accounts.
  • To link again, you both start over with a new pairing code.
