The Companion is a phone app for your day. The main site is for reading and setting things up. The Companion is for putting things in, fast, from wherever you are: the hallway, the parking lot, the checkout line.
A solo little, a little with a caregiver, and the caregiver all use the same app. Nothing in it is separate from the main site: a log written here is in your tracker, and a chore ticked here is ticked everywhere.
Tap a tile to log it. The red Stop key is always there if you need help. Tap Hide to cover the screen fast.
Getting in
Sign in with the same email and password as the main site. If you're signed in there in the same browser, the Companion picks that up. If you see This is not open yet. Your account is fine., the Companion isn't open to your account yet.
Put it on your phone
Add it to your Home Screen and it runs as a full-screen app with its own icon and notifications. See iPhone and iPad or Android. Press and hold the icon for four shortcuts: Log it, Drink, Change and Going out.
There's also a native Android app with widgets and a watch tile.

The two faces
Choose under More, in the Look section: Plain — A day tracker or Play — A toy phone. A face changes how things look and what they're called, never where they are.

The face is saved on the phone. A caregiver looking after their little always sees Plain. The same two looks are available as themes on the main site (see Themes).
Stop, from every screen
Stop is the red key on the bar, on every screen and on both faces. It opens the safety sheet:
- Safeword opens your safeword and safety page on the main site.
- Not the safeword: Pause, or driving if you just need things to hold for a while.
- On this phone: Stop everything. Clears every punishment waiting on you, any check request and a running trip. Nothing new reaches you for 24 hours. Your caregiver is told.
- Always open: ways to reach a person, support, your record, your journal and your account.
Nothing on this sheet can be switched off, by you or by anyone.
Hide
The Hide key at the top (or a double tap on the header) drops a cover over the screen at once. On Plain the cover is a clock; on Play it's a toddler play phone with the time. Nothing from the app shows. Double tap to come back, and everything is as you left it. A running timer or punishment keeps running underneath, and the cover survives a reload.
Day mode, work wording and pause
- Day mode (on Today) switches between a work day and a day to be little. Work mode uses discreet wording (for example "Personal care" instead of "Diaper", "Check" instead of "Change", "Account partner" instead of "Caregiver") and switches to the Plain face. The same wording is used while you're out on a trip.
- Pause (on More) holds the day for 30, 60, 120 or 240 minutes or until you say, for Work, Medical, Family, Travel or Something else. Driving shows one line, locks the tabs, and gives you I have stopped.
When the signal drops
Nothing hangs on the network. A log that can't be sent is kept on the phone and a strip at the top says so. See When you're offline.
