The Little Companion is a phone app for your day. The main site is for reading and setting things up. The Companion is for putting things in, fast, from wherever you are standing. The hallway, the car park, the supermarket queue.
It is for everyone. A solo little, a little with a caregiver, and the caregiver themselves, in the same app.
There is nothing in it that is not on the main site. A log written here is the tracker. A chore ticked here is the chore. It is the quick door to the things you already have.
Same account
Sign in with the same email and password. If you are signed in on the main site in the same browser, the Companion picks that up.
Install it on your phone
Add to Home Screen from your phone's browser. That is the same app as the one on the site, with an icon and a full screen. On an iPhone that is Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android the browser offers Install, or you can pick it from the menu. The home screen icon also carries four shortcuts: Log it, Drink, Change and Going out.

The two faces
The Companion has two faces. Pick one under More, then Settings. A face changes how the app looks. It never changes where anything is. Same tabs, same order, same sheets.

The face is stored on the phone, never on the server. A caregiver acting on their little always sees Plain.

Stop and Hide, from every screen
Two keys are on every screen, on both faces, in the same place at every minute of every mode. They stay put under an open sheet.
Stop is the red key on the bar. It opens the safety sheet with no network call, so it works with no signal. The first row is the real safeword button. It pages everyone linked to you and clears any running consequence, including one your caregiver sent. The rows under it reach a person, your record, your journal, your account, and a way to undo everything you set up.
Hide is the eye at the top. It drops a cover over whatever was on screen. On Plain the cover is a clock. On Play it is a toddler play phone with the time on it. Nothing from the app is on the cover, on either face. Lifting it puts everything back exactly as it was. A running consequence keeps running underneath. It survives a reload.
Work mode, driving and pause
- Work mode swaps in discreet wording without a stern tone.
- Driving is one sentence and the safety bar.
- Pause holds the day. Nothing is served while it is held.
What it does when the signal drops
Nothing hangs on the network. Every request has a deadline. A log with no signal is kept on the phone and a strip above the day says so. See the outbox.
