πŸ“œ Enrolling

Enrollment is a guided journey of 17 steps. It takes a while on purpose: Miss Honeydew treats it like moving into a new home. Everything saves as you go, so you can stop at any step and pick up later on any device. Today and the Map show Finish enrolling until you're done.

For littles

Enrolling is like your first day of school. Take your time. Miss Honeydew keeps your place if you need a break.

Start enrolling

  1. Open schoolhouse.caregiverbabyhub.com and sign in with your CaregiverBabyHub account.
  2. On Today (or the Map), choose Enroll under The Little Academy. You can read the flyer first if you like.
  3. Work through the steps below. Use the buttons at the bottom of each step to go on.

The 17 steps

  1. Your acceptance letter. A welcome letter from Miss Honeydew. Accept your place to continue.
  2. Safety first. Important safety information in plain adult words. Tick the one box to say you've read it.
  3. Meet your teacher. Miss Honeydew explains how levels, gates, add-ons and a typical week work.
  4. A promise. The honesty promise: real-life work is on the honor system, and only you know whether you did it.
  5. Your interview. Your baby name, your finish line (Little, Toddler, Baby or Newborn), a few questions about your life now, why you're here, and your limits. Lessons about anything you rule out are left off your map for good.
  6. Your health. A private health check-in. Only you and a caregiver you make your headmaster can see it. Nobody checks it or asks for proof. If you mention a health condition, regular medication or being over 50, Miss Honeydew suggests talking to your doctor and may suggest a matching add-on (only a suggestion).
  7. Your safety net. Choose your own safeword (letters only; "stop", "no" and "wait" aren't allowed because people say them in play without meaning it). "Red" always works too, as a backup every caregiver and sitter knows. You'll also learn where Pause is, can name a trusted adult outside the Academy by first name, and practice saying your safeword.
  8. Your caregiver. Choose I have a caregiver or I'm solo for now. If you invite, you'll send the invitation after your oath, from your first-week page. Your caregiver must be linked to you on the main site first. See Caregivers as headmasters and Going solo.
  9. Your add-ons. Pick any add-ons you'd like. Some are suggested from your main-site kink settings, your health answers, or because you're solo. Your limits still win.
  10. Where you are now. One question per subject about how you live today. This only sets your "where you started" baseline. Everyone starts at Level 1.
  11. A day in your old life. Write a little about your morning, daytime, meals, evening and bedtime as they are now.
  12. A letter to your future self. Write to the baby you'll be at graduation. Once sealed, nobody can read or change it, not your caregiver, not an admin, not even you, until it's opened for you alone at your graduation.
  13. Giving it up. Choose at least five grown-up things to give up (or write your own), and do a short three-step ritual.
  14. Packing your new life. A supply checklist for Level 1, plus anything your add-ons need. Mark what you have and what you still need.
  15. Your new birthday. Your enrollment day becomes your new birthday. Add your "first words" and get a birth-announcement card for your Baby Book.
  16. Your student file. Pick a crest and see your student ID card.
  17. The oath. Read your oath, which names your baby name, finish line, what you gave up, your add-ons and your safeword, and sign it.

After the oath you land on a Your first week welcome page. Your first lesson is waiting on the map.

Things to know

  • Writing steps have no minimum length. Write as much or as little as you want, as long as you write something.
  • Members who finished the old "becoming a baby" course get a head-start badge on their file. They still start at Level 1.
  • Main-site habits. Signing the oath can offer you a set of Level 1 habits to add on the main site (bedtime, rules and so on). Nothing is added unless you tick it. See The Academy and the main site.
  • Your caregiver co-signs your oath when they accept your invitation. That's what makes them your headmaster.
