Automatic Check-Ins
Automatic Check-Ins let you schedule diaper checks, kink check-ins, and reminders to fire automatically — no one has to remember to send them. A caregiver can set them up for their linked baby, and solo babies can set them up for themselves.
Navigate there from the sidebar: 🤝 Caregiver Tools → ⏱️ Auto Check-Ins (also linked from the Caregiver Connection page and the Baby Hub).
What It Does
Once a check-in is scheduled, the app fires it on its own — sending a push notification, an in-app notification, and (for diaper checks) a pending check the baby can respond to. Checks fire within ~30 minutes of their scheduled time.

Kink Check-Ins are part of the kink system. They become available once the V2 Kinks & Customization update is live for your account.
Adding a Check-In
- Tap Add Check-In
- Choose the Type: Diaper Check, Kink Check-In, or Reminder
- For a Kink Check-In, pick which kink it's about
- Optionally add a Label / Message — a custom title or reminder body
- Pick a Schedule (see below)
- Make sure Enabled is on
- Tap Save
Your saved check-ins are listed with a short summary of when each one fires.
Scheduling Options
There are two ways to schedule a check-in:
Every Few Hours (interval)
Fires repeatedly on an interval. Set Every (hours) — for example, every 3 hours. A brand-new interval check waits one full interval before its first fire (so it doesn't go off the moment you save it).
Set Times (times)
Fires at specific clock times each day. Add one or more Times of Day (e.g. 09:00, 13:00, 18:00). Each time fires once per day in the baby's local timezone.
Quiet Hours Window
The Only between option is an optional quiet-hours guard. If you set a window (e.g. 08:00 to 21:00), the check-in will only fire inside that window — so nothing wakes the baby in the middle of the night. Overnight windows (e.g. 21:00 to 08:00) are supported. Leave it blank to allow firing any time.
Enabling & Removing
- Toggle Enabled off to pause a check-in without deleting it.
- Tap Delete to remove a check-in entirely.
How It Fires (behind the scenes)
A background job checks every ~30 minutes for due check-ins and fires them based on each baby's timezone. Diaper checks also create a pending check on the baby's dashboard so they can respond, and the response syncs back to the caregiver in real time.
