πŸ“‹ Routines

Routines are step-by-step care sequences, like a morning routine, bath time, or bedtime. You run them one step at a time, and they reset every day.

Open them from the menu under πŸ“± My Dynamic β†’ πŸ“‹ Routines (baby mode calls it Baby Steps). The page lives at caregiverbabyhub.com/routines.

The first screen shows today's routines, each with a β–Ά Start button. Everything else is behind All features in the top corner (little mode calls it All the things).

For littles

Tap β–Ά Start and do one step at a time. When you finish the last step, tap Finish! 🌟 to get your points.

Run a routine

  1. Open Routines.
  2. Tap β–Ά Start on the routine you want.
  3. The player shows one step at a time. Some steps have a timer you can start.
  4. Tap through each step. You can Pause and Resume, or mute the chimes.
  5. On the last step, tap Finish! 🌟. You earn points, and the routine shows Done today 🌟.

If you stop partway, the player asks "Stop this routine?" Your progress for today is kept.

Sessions

At the top of the page you can switch between Routines and Sessions (little mode: Special time). Sessions are longer guided moments you play from start to finish.

Make a new routine

Under All features β†’ Make a new one:

  • Add Routine: name it now and add the steps after.
  • Ready-made routines: add a routine that's already written and edit it afterward.
  • Build one step by step: your own steps, timers, color, and points.
  • Go back to the starter set: replaces every routine with the starter set for your care stage. This can't be undone.

To change one routine, choose Open a routine's steps.

Who can change routines

Littles on their own can always add and change routines. A linked little can change them only if their caregiver turns on Can edit own routines in Dynamic Settings.

For caregivers

Your little's routines show under their name. Under All features:

  • Their routine record shows which routines stuck, which are required, and when to remind them.
  • Mark as required locks a routine so your little sees Required by caregiver πŸ”’. Use Remove required lock to undo it.
  • Can they change their own routines? turns your little's editing on or off.

The rest of your day

  • Do this for me automatically opens Automations, for things like "when my bedtime routine is done, do this."
  • See the patterns opens Little Insights, where your monthly report includes how well routines are kept.
  • The Direct Line lets you talk about a routine with your caregiver or little.

Routines also appear on the Dashboard, so you can start one from there.
