๐Ÿ“บ CBH TV

CBH TV is a television, not a video library. Every channel is always on. When you tune in, you join whatever is playing right now, partway through, the same as everyone else watching that channel. There is no pause and no skip.

You find it in the menu under ๐Ÿงธ My Corner โ†’ ๐Ÿ“บ CBH TV. In little mode the menu calls it Telly (or Telly Time in baby mode). The page lives at caregiverbabyhub.com/tv.

For littles

Tap a channel and the telly turns on. It was already playing, so you just join in. When it's bedtime, the telly goes to sleep too.

The channelsโ€‹

There are channels for each age, plus music channels anyone can watch.

๐Ÿฃ NewbornHigh-contrast shapes and slow, gentle colors
๐Ÿ‘ถ BabyFirst words, animals, and soft little stories
๐Ÿงธ ToddlerShort, friendly episodes and learning through play

โญ CBH OriginalsOur own programs (only shows up when there is something on it)

The programs come from official channels, and a person checks what goes on the air. The lineup is not picked automatically.

Which channels you can seeโ€‹

The age channels follow how little you are today. You see your own age and every channel littler than it. The music channels and The Little Channel are open to everyone. If you try a channel above your age, the screen says "Not this one today."

Watchโ€‹

  1. Open ๐Ÿ“บ CBH TV.
  2. Tap a channel under Channels. If something was already on, tap Turn the telly on.
  3. Use โ›ถ Big screen for full screen. On now shows what is playing and Coming up shows what is next.

Watch on a real TVโ€‹

Tap ๐Ÿ“ก Cast to TV. In Chrome, open the menu (โ‹ฎ), choose Castโ€ฆ, pick your TV, then tap โ›ถ Big screen.

Your telly settingsโ€‹

The Your telly panel on the page holds your own settings:

  • How little today: your age band. You see this band and everything littler.
  • Telly each day: a daily time limit. The default is No limit.
  • Earn extra with chore stars: lets you trade stars from chores for extra minutes.
  • Stick to one channel: pins the telly to a single channel.

Hold yourself to itโ€‹

If you don't have a caregiver, you can set these up while you feel big and then tap Hold me to it. A held setting can be made stricter or held for longer, but it can't be loosened until the hold ends. This is on purpose: it is how the site keeps you to the limits you chose.

When time runs outโ€‹

When your daily time is used up, the program that is playing finishes first. Then the screen says "That's all the telly for today." You get a warning in the last five minutes.

You can get more time two ways:

  • Spend stars. If earning is on, buy extra minutes with stars from chores.
  • Ask. Use the ๐Ÿ“บ Screen time permission slip. When a caregiver approves it, you get 30 extra minutes once.

Bedtimeโ€‹

At your bedtime (from your Daily Schedule), your channel closes. The screen says "The telly's closed for the night" and offers the Goodnight page instead. It comes back on in the morning.

For caregiversโ€‹

A linked caregiver controls the telly from the ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ Comfort Remote on the Command Board. From there you can:

  • see whether your little is watching right now, minutes watched today, and the last 14 days
  • grant extra minutes or extend bedtime
  • turn the telly off for now and back on later (your little sees "Your caregiver turned it off")
  • pin one channel (your little sees "Someone picked for you")
  • set the age band and the daily limit

While a caregiver is linked, a little can only make their own settings stricter, not looser. A self-hold also applies to the caregiver: nobody can loosen a held setting until the hold ends.

Privacyโ€‹

CBH TV keeps time per channel, not a list of the programs you watched.
