Navigating the App
CaregiverBabyHub adapts its navigation to your screen size. On desktop you get a persistent sidebar; on mobile you get a compact top bar, bottom tab bar, and slide-out menu.
Desktop — Sidebar
On desktop (screens wider than 768px), a sidebar is pinned to the left side of every page.
Top of sidebar:
- 🏠 Dashboard — your main overview page
- 🏫 Schoolhouse — opens schoolhouse.caregiverbabyhub.com in a new tab

Mobile — Bottom Tab Bar
On mobile, five primary links are always visible in a floating bar at the bottom of the screen:

If you hide one of these pages from your menus, it is removed from the bottom tab bar too.
Mobile — Hamburger Menu
The mobile top bar contains only:

Tap ☰ in the top-right corner to open the full navigation drawer. It contains:
- A featured Schoolhouse link
- All My Dynamic links (collapsible)
- All Explore links (collapsible)
- Account actions: Tip Creator, My Account, Sign Out
Hiding Pages From Your Menus
You can clean up your navigation by hiding pages you do not use.
On any page except Dashboard and Account:
- Open the page.
- Use Hide from menu near the top of the page.
- The page is removed from your sidebar, hamburger menu, and mobile bottom tabs.
To restore hidden pages:
- Go to My Account.
- Open the Content tab.
- Use Menu Visibility to turn pages back on.
Dashboard and Account always stay visible so you can get back to the main app and restore hidden pages.
Themes and Modes
Two display settings affect the whole app:
- Display Mode — Default, Toddler Mode, and Baby Mode. Toggle it from the mode button in the top navbar.
- Color Theme — four themes (Neutral, Boy, Girl, Dark). Change it in Account Settings → Themes.
Notifications bell 🔔
The bell icon in the top navbar shows unread in-app notifications from your caregiver — diaper checks, punishment notices, and notes. Tap it to view them.
