Dynamic Settings
Dynamic Settings is the advanced configuration center for your dynamic. It's split across 8 tabs covering permissions, appearance, terminology, dashboard layout, notifications, rules display, tracker visibility, and custom punishments.
Navigate there from the sidebar: My Dynamic → ⚙️ Dynamic Settings
Permissions Tab
Controls what the baby/little is and isn't allowed to change in the app. Caregivers can also manage these settings for their linked baby.
Baby Permissions

Regression Mode
A special mode that hides adult-oriented features and activates full baby mode UI throughout the app. Regression mode can be set to last for a fixed duration:
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
- 2 hours
- 4 hours
- Until midnight
- Indefinite
Lock My Permissions
Babies can lock their own permission panel for a set duration, preventing themselves from changing permissions until the lock expires. This is useful for maintaining self-imposed structure.
Theme Tab
Custom Accent Color
Choose a custom accent color that overrides the default primary color for your selected theme:
- Pink, Purple, Blue, Mint, Orange, Red
Background Pattern
Apply a decorative pattern to card backgrounds:
- Solid (default), Dots, Lines, Gradient
Border Style
Change how card borders appear:
- Rounded (default), Sharp, Pill
Dashboard Wallpaper
Apply a full-page background behind your dashboard:
- None, Pastel Pink, Baby Blue, Lavender, Starry, Mint, Clouds, Sunset
Theme Code
Generate a shareable theme code from your current settings. Paste someone else's code to apply their custom theme to your account.
Community Themes
Browse and apply custom themes shared by other users. Each community theme shows the author name and color swatches. Click one to apply it instantly.
You can also share your own theme with the community from this tab.
Terminology Tab
Replace default app labels with custom terms that fit your specific dynamic. Every term you replace updates consistently throughout the app.

Changes are visible immediately across all pages.
Dashboard Tab
Control which widget cards are visible on your Dashboard and their order. Toggle each widget on or off:

- 👶 Diaper
- 📋 Rules
- ✅ Chores
- 📅 Schedule
- ⭐ Points
- 🚽 Potty
Drag widgets to reorder them. Changes are saved automatically.
Notifications Tab
Fine-tune exactly which push notifications you receive. Toggle each type on or off, and for time-based notifications, set a custom delivery time:

You can also set a custom notification message for each type to make alerts more personal.
Rules Tab
Default View Style
Set which display style is used when viewing your rules in read-only mode:
- Numbered List — numbered entries grouped by category
- Sticker Board — compact cards in a grid
- Parchment Scroll — elegant scroll-style layout
Custom Rule Categories
Create your own rule categories in addition to the 18 built-in categories. Give each a name and a color. Custom categories appear alongside the defaults throughout the Rules Builder.
Trackers Tab
Visible Trackers
Choose which log tabs appear on your Tracker page:
- 🍼 Diaper Log
- 🥣 Feeding Log
- 😊 Mood Log
- 😴 Sleep Log
- ⭐ Reward/Punishment Log
Toggle any off to hide it from your Tracker. Hidden tabs don't delete data — they just remove the tab from view.
Punishments Tab
Create a custom punishment pool for your dynamic. Custom punishments work alongside (or instead of) the presets from the Rules Builder.
For each custom punishment, you set:
- Name — what the punishment is called
- Emoji — an emoji for the punishment card
- Severity — Light, Mild, Moderate, Serious, or Extreme
- Completion method — how the little proves they've completed it:
- Timer — a countdown they must let run out
- Written Confirmation — type a statement to confirm completion
- Photo Description — describe a photo showing completion
- Simple Confirm — tap a confirm button when done
Custom punishments appear in the Punish Baby page alongside your dynamic's punishments.
