Looking after yourself

/self-caregiver is the page for anyone with nobody caring for them. That includes littles, switches, and people with an Account-abili-baby, because a buddy is not a caregiver. Link a caregiver and this page goes away. A caregiver-role account with no little linked keeps /caregiver.

A solo little has to be the caregiver as well as the little. This page takes the caregiver's job off you without pretending to be a person.

โ›” No simulated people

The AI caregiver on this page is disclosed software. Nothing else on the platform speaks as though it were a human who is not there.

There are four honest ways the caregiver's job gets done here:

  1. Past-you. Big-you does the caregiver work once, and little-you just follows it.
  2. The AI. Disclosed, never dressed up as a person.
  3. Structure. Rituals and programmes that need nobody.
  4. A real peer. Another little, explicitly not a caregiver. See Account-abili-babies.

The page reads the Little Meterโ€‹

The page has two jobs that fight each other. Being the caregiver means setting rules and writing the week, done rarely, in big mode, thinking clearly. Being the little means doing the next thing, done daily. So the page reads your Little Meter and leads with one or the other.

Big puts the setup tools first. Little puts the next thing first and the machinery gets out of the way. Both halves stay reachable from either mode. The meter changes what is in front of you, never what is available.

There are four sections: Today, Promises, Set up and Record. A pinned "Everything else" button opens the rest.

Todayโ€‹

The next thing you already decided, and the controls you might need right now.

  • Right now. What you are held to at this minute, from your own dynamic.
  • Choosing. One tap hands the choosing over and one tap takes it back. See decision-free mode.
  • Her. The AI caregiver's line for right now, and "May I" answered from your own house rules.
  • Consequences. Anything running on the ladder, and the option to serve one off your own list or send yourself to corner time.
  • Owning up. Three taps to confess something. What kind, how bad, and own it, drawn from the rules you actually have. The consequence comes from your own list and is scaled to a set.
  • The vault. See the PIN vault.
  • The come-down. The guided exit from littlespace sits above everything else in both faces because it is the one part that can hurt someone. It is written to the server before a single beat, so closing the app does not lose it.

Promisesโ€‹

What you are holding yourself to. Your contract with yourself and the week you wrote.

A contract with yourselfโ€‹

You can sign it and print it. It composes itself from your own dynamic: your rules, rewards, consequences, care stage and safeword. Nothing is a blank box. It keeps its own history and there is no delete path anywhere. Amendments work the same way as a couple's contract, with your one signature. See contract amendments.

The weekโ€‹

The Sunday setup is one weekly session where big-you does the caregiver work for the week ahead. It is the page's main event in big mode.

  • Plan my week is Yes, Ask me or No over your real permission categories and your real rewards. It writes real pre-signed permission slips, real vetoes and real house rules. A slip expires at the end of the planned week and cannot be pushed out.
  • Plan my day writes today's schedule, for today only. It reverts by itself tomorrow.
  • The locked decision. Commit to something and you cannot undo it for a set number of days. There is a hard time gate and no override anywhere in the app.
  • Future-self veto. Big-you pre-forbids what little-you will want. The veto reaches the AI and answers a matching permission ask with a no. Vetoes are free text and are never used to lock a page, because a guessed lock is a locked door.
  • A freeze with a reason. A freeze is a locked promise with a name on it, for example "re-sign my contract". It holds one control shut until a date, explains itself on the frozen button, and always ends on a safeword.

Set upโ€‹

The setup tools, one area at a time. Each row shows its real state as the hint, so you can see what is configured without opening it.

Past-youโ€‹

Pre-authorised consequences. You set the rule and the penalty together, so little-you cannot argue with it. The escalation ladder only ever applies consequences you chose from your own list. It climbs over repetition, never over time asleep, and never fires on a bad day.

Two things can never be locked at any level: the safeword path, and anything you need on a bad day. That means the tracker, the journal, comfort and the crisis links. The list of lockable things is an allow-list.

The AI caregiverโ€‹

Her manner, strictness, vocabulary and what she calls you, seeded from what you already put in your profile. Her strictness reaches the chat, the mood reply and the morning check-in. She knows your contract and can see your week.

A free account gets a real caregiver. She holds the rules, enforces them, answers "May I", and writes your weekly review. A paid account gets a tireless one. She starts conversations herself, keeps long-term memory, and notices patterns across weeks. See AI Caregiver.

Ritualsโ€‹

  • Guided entry and exit. A guided way into littlespace and a come-down afterward. Body before feelings.
  • Bedtime as ceremony. Bedtime extends your existing routine into a small ceremony. It refuses to invent a bedtime when you have no schedule.
  • Thirty-day programmes. They advance by days done, never by the calendar. A day you miss is a day it waits.
  • A year ago today. Anniversaries with yourself, shown only when they are real and drawn from a dated thing you made.

Decision-free modeโ€‹

One tap hands the choosing over. The app picks what to eat, what to wear and what happens next. It reaches your chores, your schedule and the AI. Past-you can also schedule it, so you can say "after eight, stop asking me things". It is both a right-now control and a Sunday-setup control, which is why it lives in both halves of the page.

The app draws the day's chores from your own list, or seeds a few if it is empty. It can generate a whole day so the day feels external. Everything it picks says where it came from and is never attributed to a person.

Teethโ€‹

Consequences that actually happen. A lockout you pre-authorised rather than a notification. The honest mirror is one hard true sentence a week about your patterns. It stays in the setup area rather than being handed to little-you, and it says nothing at all on a failed read.

The PIN vaultโ€‹

The vault is for your phone's own screen-time limits. The site is the vault, and your phone is the enforcer.

  1. Turn the limits on yourself. On an iPhone that is Settings, then Screen Time. On Android it is Digital Wellbeing.
  2. The site makes a random code and puts it on the screen once.
  3. You type it into your phone while it is sitting there in front of you.
  4. You type it back to the site so it knows you had it.
  5. You pick how long it stays hidden, and then it goes.
There is no escape hatch

The code is genuinely unavailable until the timer ends. There is no support request, no export and no notification preview that will show it. The screen says this plainly before the timer starts. Read it. This is the one place on the platform where a moment of friction is correct.

The code is stored on the server, so clearing your browser or changing phones does not destroy it. When the timer ends you can reveal it again.

Recordโ€‹

What has happened, and what your dynamic has to say about it.

The noticingโ€‹

One true sentence a week about a pattern in what you logged, or nothing. It never prints a blank date and it says nothing on a failed read, because the one thing that must be trusted cannot guess.

Amendmentsโ€‹

Out of what actually happened, your dynamic proposes changes to itself. Retire a rule you always keep. Give teeth to one you keep breaking. Nothing changes on its own. Every outcome takes two taps, and a declined proposal does not come back next week.

Letters from past-youโ€‹

Write something now that opens later. A date letter is truly sealed. Its words are not even sent to your browser until the day. A condition letter, such as "open on a bad night", reads its condition back and keeps the date you opened it.

The recordโ€‹

Dated sit-downs and the ledger of consequences served, from your own dynamic. It never prints a blank entry.

Three ceremoniesโ€‹

Moments the page marks when they are earned, claimed once and never shown before they happen.

Where the safeword isโ€‹

Everywhere. The safeword path can never be locked, frozen or vetoed. The Companion's Stop key and the Dock's Comfort Corner reach the same safeword as the main site.
