🏪 Reward Store

The Reward Store is where you spend the stars (points) you earn. A caregiver stocks it with rewards. You pick one, and it's yours, sometimes after your caregiver says okay.

The store lives at caregiverbabyhub.com/store. It isn't a row in the menu. You get there from:

  • the 🛍️ Store shortcut on your Dashboard
  • the points cards on your Dashboard
  • the store buttons on the Chores page
  • search: press Ctrl + K (or ⌘ + K) and type "store"
For littles

You earn stars by doing chores and playing. Spend them here on treats! If you're saving for something big, put stars in your Savings Jar.

Where points come from​

Your Points Balance is at the top of the store. Points come from chores, routines, schedule blocks, Activity Center games, things you do in other apps, and gifts from your caregiver. It's all one wallet. See Across the network.

Redeem a reward​

  1. Open the store and find a reward under My Rewards.
  2. Tap Redeem.
  3. One of two things happens:
    • The reward is yours right away: "Redeemed!"
    • Or it needs your caregiver's okay. It shows Pending caregiver approval until they decide.

If you don't have enough stars, you'll see "Not enough points! 🥺". Past rewards are listed under Redemption History.

  • A ⭐ Featured Reward sits at the top.
  • During a sale, rewards cost less for a while.
  • A 🎉 Surprise Drop is a special reward that appears for a limited time.

Wishlist​

Tap Add to wishlist on anything you're dreaming about. A caregiver can gift a wishlist item, and you'll get to unwrap it.

Savings Jar and Mystery Box​

  • Savings Jar: move stars into your jar to save toward something. You can set a savings goal.
  • Mystery Box: spend 25 stars to open a surprise.

For caregivers​

As a linked caregiver, you see your little's store and can:

  • Add Reward: give it a title, description, point cost, emoji, and an optional tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum). Mark whether it needs your approval.
  • Browse reward ideas to copy a ready-made reward into the store.
  • Approve or deny requests. Requests appear under Awaiting Approval. When you deny one, you can say why.
  • Mark physical rewards as given once you've handed them over.
  • Feature a reward, or Set a sale or surprise drop with a percentage off and an end time.
  • Gift wishlist items.
  • Allowance & Savings: set a regular stipend of stars and a savings goal. The stipend is added automatically each period.

You can also turn the whole points store off for your little with the Game points enabled permission in Dynamic Settings. Your little then sees "Your caregiver has turned off the points store 🔒".

Solo littles​

Without a caregiver, the store is self-managed: add your own rewards with Add Reward, and redeeming is instant.
