Achievements & Progression

CaregiverBabyHub has one connected progression system: badges you unlock, one unified Level you earn everywhere, a chosen Care Stage, and a Caregiver Rank ladder for the caring side. It all comes together on the Progress page at /progress — "Your Journey 🌟".

One Level, Everywhere​

There is one 50-level XP ladder shared across every CaregiverBabyHub app. XP you earn at Daycare, Camp, the Schoolhouse, the Nursery, the Kitchen — anywhere — all flows into the same total, so you're the same level everywhere.

The 50 levels are grouped into five tiers of ten:

Every level has its own title and emoji — you start as 🌱 Tiny Sprout at Level 1 and the ladder tops out at 💎 Eternal Baby at Level 50. Early levels come quickly; the later ones are a long, cozy climb.

How XP Is Earned​

Just live your dynamic — nearly everything grants XP:

  • Tracker logs (diapers, mood, feedings, sleep)
  • Journal entries, completed chores and routines, schedule blocks
  • Planner goals, habits, and bucket-list items
  • Unlocking achievements (a nice XP bonus each)
  • Coloring pages, bedtime stories, milestones, caregiver-assigned activities
  • Playing in the companion apps — every app contributes to the same ladder

Streaks help too: daily logins build a 🔥 streak that earns a streak freeze 🧊 every 7 days (bank up to 3 — a missed day spends one automatically), and coming back after a break grants a little welcome-back XP and points bonus.

Level-Up Celebrations​

When you cross a level, a full-screen Level Up! 🎖️ celebration fires with confetti — and if you're linked, your partner gets a notification so they can cheer for you. Caregivers get the same moment as a Rank Up! 👑 when their rank climbs.

Care Stage​

Separate from your earned Level, your Care Stage (1–5) is chosen with your caregiver and describes how deep your dynamic runs: 🌸 Light → 🍼 Moderate → 🧸 Deep → 🌈 Full Authentic → ⭐ True Baby. See My Dynamic for the full table.

Caregiver Rank​

Caregivers (and switches) climb their own 50-rank ladder, fueled by a separate caregiver XP pool earned through real caregiving: rule tending, care packages, rewards, notes, diaper checks, and simply showing up each day.

Ranks unlock real perks: your daily and per-gift point caps grow with every rank, custom reward presets unlock at Rank 15, a weekly double points day at Rank 25, and big-gift bundles at Rank 35.

The Progress Page — /progress​

Your Journey 🌟 gathers everything in one place:

  • Your Level — tier, title, total XP, progress to the next level, and where the XP came from ("Earned here" vs "Other apps"), plus your spendable ⭐ points
  • Care Stage — your current stage with all five shown
  • Caregiver Rank (caregivers & switches) — rank, tier, progress, and the perk unlock list
  • The ladder — all 50 steps to preview, with 🔒 on the ones still ahead

Achievements​

Navigate there from the sidebar: Explore → 🏆 Achievements

Badges unlock automatically as you hit milestones — first diaper log, first journal entry, linking with a caregiver, streaks, and dozens more. The page has three collections:

  • Website — earned automatically from your in-app activity
  • Real Life — self-reported real-world milestones
  • Milestones — long-term journey markers

Rarity​

Badges come in four rarities instead of medals:

Locked badges show a silhouette and a hint; countable ones (like "100 logs") show a progress bar. You can pin favorites to showcase them, and filter by rarity or locked/unlocked.

From My Caregiver​

Caregivers can create custom achievements just for their little — their own title, emoji, description, and rarity. Hidden ones appear as "???" until the moment they're awarded. 🥺💛

Each unlocked achievement also grants XP toward your unified Level — so badge hunting levels you up too.
