⚠️ Punishments

When a rule is broken, a linked caregiver can give a consequence. The little sees it, completes it, and can appeal it if it feels unfair. Everything is logged so you can both look back.

Caregivers give punishments on the Punish Baby page at caregiverbabyhub.com/punish-baby. On a computer it's in the menu under 📱 My Dynamic → ⚠️ Punish Baby once you have a linked little. In baby mode it's called Uh Oh.

For littles

If you get a punishment, a box pops up telling you what to do and why. Tap Done! when you've finished. If you think it isn't fair, tap Appeal ⚖️ and say why.

Before you start​

  • You need a linked little. Without one, the page says "No baby linked yet." See Linking with your caregiver or little.
  • The punishment list comes from your little's dynamic and your custom punishments. Set them up in Rules or Dynamic Settings.
  • Your little's permissions can stop you from issuing punishments. If so, you'll see a message saying you don't have permission.

Give a punishment​

The page has two tabs: ⚡ Issue and 📊 History.

  1. On ⚡ Issue, choose under Select Punishment.
  2. Pick a Severity: Minor 🟡, Moderate 🟠, Serious 🔴, or Severe 🚨. Severity changes what the punishment asks for.
  3. Add an optional Note explaining why. Your little sees it.
  4. Tap Send Punishment.

You'll see "Punishment sent! ⚠️" and your little gets it right away.

Quick punishments​

Under Quick punishments, tap a common punishment to send it in one tap. If too many are already waiting, you'll see "Too many punishments queued already 💛."

Pending punishments and forgiving​

The ⏳ Pending count shows punishments your little hasn't finished yet. Changed your mind? Tap 💛 Forgive on a pending one to cancel it.

Detention​

The Detention card sends your little to do written work in the Schoolhouse:

  • ✍️ Write lines: a promise to copy, such as "I will not skip naptime," a set number of times.
  • 📄 Essay: a topic, such as "Why my bedtime rules keep me safe," with a minimum word count.

Add an optional reason and tap Send (your little's name) to detention. It only counts once the work is turned in. Each detention shows ⏳ In detention or ✅ Served, and you can forgive one that hasn't been served.

Let Autopilot watch for broken rules​

The Broken-Rule Watch card hands a simple rule to Autopilot: if a rule gets broken, send your little a gentle reset note and tell you. See Autopilot.

History​

The 📊 History tab shows:

  • totals for Pending, This Week, and All Time
  • a Weekly Frequency (Last 8 Weeks) chart
  • the Punishment Log, each with its outcome, such as Completed or Dismissed
  • Recorded apologies: voice notes your little recorded on their punishments

For the little: what you see​

When you have a punishment waiting, a Due Punishments box opens. For each one you see what to do, Why you got this, and how to finish it:

  • Some have a timer. Tap Start Timer and wait until it ends.
  • Others you finish by tapping Done!

You can also tap 🎙️ Record an apology to leave your caregiver a voice note.

Appeal a punishment​

If you think a punishment isn't fair:

  1. Tap Appeal ⚖️.
  2. Explain why, in up to 300 characters.
  3. Tap Submit.

The punishment shows ⚖️ Appeal pending, and your caregiver gets a notification. They review it on the Caregiver page and either uphold it ("Your punishment stands") or dismiss it.

Safety​

Punishments are part of a consensual dynamic between adults. A safeword always comes first: see Your account and profile.
