🧭 Our Dynamic

Our Dynamic puts the big decisions about your dynamic in one place: how strict it is, whether it's locked in, which privileges the little holds, and how the week went. It is also where you start the new, shorter builder.

Open it from πŸ“± My Dynamic β†’ 🧭 Our Dynamic. Littles see it as 🧭 My Wules & Stars. The page is caregiverbabyhub.com/dynamic/v2. The πŸ“œ Decided card on your dynamic home opens it too.

For littles

This is your rules-and-stars page! You can see how strict your nursery is, your promise lock, and your big-kid stickers. Going stricter is always OK, and your safeword always works. πŸ’•

Who can change what

Everything on this page follows one rule:

WhoMaking it stricterMaking it softer
CaregiverHappens right awayHappens right away
Linked littleHappens right awayBecomes a request to the caregiver
Little with no caregiverHappens right awayHappens right away, unless the commitment lock is on. Then it waits out a cooling-off period

"Softer" means lowering strictness, turning the commitment lock off, giving a paused privilege back early, or removing a privilege. The 🚦 safeword release is the one thing that skips all of this. See The commitment lock.

🎚️ Strictness

One dial with five levels. Littles see the cozy names, caregivers see the plain ones.

LevelLittle seesCaregiver seesWhat it sets
1 🌸Super softGentle guidanceGentle reminders. No automatic consequences. Rewards don't need approval
2 🧸SoftSoft structureGentle reminders. No automatic consequences. Rewards don't need approval
3 ⭐Just rightBalancedNormal reminders. Rewards need the caregiver's OK
4 πŸ“FirmFirmStrict reminders. A missed chore brings a consequence by itself. Rewards need an OK
5 πŸ‘‘Very strictVery strictStrict reminders. Missed chores and missed routines bring consequences by themselves. Rewards need an OK

Moving the dial writes those settings into Dynamic Settings, where you can still fine-tune each one. When a caregiver moves it, the little gets a bell with the new level. If you use the self-care AI as a solo little, its strictness moves with the dial too.

The commitment lock

The πŸ”’ Commitment lock (a little's My promise lock) is a promise to stick with the dynamic. Turning it on counts as stricter, so it is always instant. While it's on:

  • Linked little: anything softer needs the caregiver's OK. Tap a softer option, add a reason if you like, and it goes to your caregiver as a request.
  • Little with no caregiver: anything softer waits out a Cooling-off wait you pick: 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 days, 5 days, or 7 days (3 days to start). You can make the wait longer while the lock is on straight away. Making it shorter counts as softer, so it becomes a request that waits out your current wait first, then shows Still want it? Do it. When the wait is over, the request shows Still want it? Do it.

Requests show on the lock card. Littles see them under Things I asked for and can tap Never mind to cancel. Caregivers see them under Waiting for you, with Yes and Not now and room for a short note. Asking for the same thing twice doesn't send a second request.

🚦 The safeword release

While the lock is on, the little always sees a red 🚦 Safeword: unlock everything now button. One tap (and a confirm):

  • turns the commitment lock off at once
  • cancels every request still waiting
  • tells the caregiver: "Your little used their safeword… Please check in with them as adults, now."

Nobody has to approve it, and there is no wait. A real emergency always comes first: stop, get safe, and sort out the app afterwards. See Safety Hub.

πŸ… Privileges

The πŸ… Privileges board (a little's πŸ… My big-kid stickers) lists things the little has and can lose, like πŸ“Ί Screen time, 🍰 Dessert or πŸŒ™ Staying up late. Tap a suggestion or type your own, pick an emoji, and choose how many good days earn it back (1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 14). A board holds up to 24.

  • Held privileges are shiny ("Mine! ✨").
  • ⏸ Pause fades one out, with an optional reason the little sees.
  • ⭐ Good day adds a star toward earning it back, once a day. When the stars are full it comes back by itself.
  • Give back returns it early (a little sees πŸ™ Ask, which becomes a request).
  • βœ• removes it.

A linked little can only ask; their caregiver adds, pauses and counts good days. A little with no caregiver runs the whole board and counts good days on their honor. Giving back or removing still waits out the cooling-off period if their lock is on.

Pausing from Punish Baby

Caregivers also get a ⏸ Pause a privilege card on the ⚑ Issue tab of Punish Baby. Type why (they'll see it), then tap the privilege to pause. Earning it back still happens on the board.

πŸ“’ The weekly report

πŸ“’ This week (a little's πŸ“’ My week) counts the last seven days: ⭐ stars earned, ⏱️ consequences given ("oopsies" for littles), πŸ™ appeals, and πŸ… privileges earned back. If a number can't be loaded it says "couldn't load" instead of showing a zero that didn't happen.

If you have no caregiver

Everything above works for a solo little. You hold yourself to it: your changes to make things softer happen right away unless your lock is on, and then they wait out your cooling-off period. Your safeword release always works instantly. To build your dynamic, tap ✨ Build my dynamic, the easy way. See Build your dynamic.

If you're a caregiver with no little yet

You see Build your dynamic, then invite your little:

  • ✨ Build your dynamic now lets you talk the whole dynamic through and save it as a draft. Nothing is applied to your own account.
  • πŸ’Œ Invite your little (enter their pairing code). Your little makes a pairing code on their Caregiver page, then you type it in on yours.

Once you're linked, open the builder again. Your answers are waiting, and you can send them to your little to sign.

How the AI caregiver uses it

The AI caregiver is told the little's strictness level and how to act on it. At 4 she doesn't let rule-breaking slide or get talked out of a decision. At 5 she is firm and formal, but never cruel, and the safeword always ends everything. She is also told the little's hard limits (from the signed contract's locked clauses and the builder's safety answers) and never to bring them up.
