Story Library and Serials

The Story Library holds every dream you have finished, your keepsake storybooks, and the Community Shelf of dreams other members chose to share. Open it with Library in the bottom bar.

For littles

All your finished stories live on your shelf. Tap one to read it again. You can give it a heart to make it a favorite.

The Library has two tabs at the top: My Shelf and Community Shelf.

My Shelf

My Shelf shows:

  • Monthly Stories, if you get them (see below).
  • My Storybooks, your keepsake books from Storybook Studio.
  • Your Dream Streak moon, which grows with each night in a row that you tuck in.
  • My Dreams, every dream you have finished.

  1. Type in the search your dreams box to search by title.
  2. Use the sort menu to pick Newest, Oldest or Favorites first.
  3. Tap the view button to switch between a list and a bookshelf view. Story Series appear together on the bookshelf.
  4. Tap a dream to read it again.

Dream Shelves are saved on the device you made them on. They do not move to your other devices.

Sharing to the Community Shelf

Sharing is always your choice. Your dreams stay private unless you share them.

  1. Right after a dream ends, Storytime asks Put it on the community shelf? You can also tap the share button on any dream in My Dreams.
  2. Add a title for the shelf, pick a collection (Sleepy Classics, Brave Little Heroes or Silly Dreams) and, if you like, a dedication line.
  3. Tap Share it.
  4. Storytime asks One sleepy second β€” real names? Choose Swap and share to replace your names with "Little Star" and "their caregiver", or Share as-is.

To take a dream off the shelf, tap its share button again on My Shelf.

The Community Shelf

The Community Shelf shows dreams other members have shared.

  • Use the collection buttons (All, Sleepy Classics, Brave Little Heroes, Silly Dreams) to filter.
  • The featured story of the week sits at the top.
  • Tap the heart on a dream to like it.
  • If a story feels wrong, tap the report button and say what feels off. A moderator will review it.

Monthly Stories (Premium, Duo and Nightlight)

If you are a Premium, Duo or Nightlight member, a new storybook arrives in Monthly Stories on the 1st of each month. Pro alone does not include Monthly Stories.

To shape next month's book, open My story wishes and fill in any of Theme or place, Comfort things and Please leave out, then tap Save my wishes. Monthly books open in the same page-turning reader as Storybook Studio and can be read aloud by your device.

Chapter-a-Day Serials

Serials are multi-chapter stories written by members. One new chapter is released each day. Open them from the Chapter-a-Day Serials door on the Dreamweaver home page.

The Serials page has three tabs: Browse, My Serials and New Serial.

Follow a serial

  1. On Browse, tap a serial.
  2. Tap Follow for daily drops to get a notice when a new chapter comes out.
  3. Read the released chapters. Chapters that are not out yet show an hourglass.

Reading keeps your serial reading streak going.

Write a serial

  1. Tap New Serial.
  2. Enter a Serial title and, if you like, a short blurb.
  3. Write your first chapter. Tap Add another chapter for each chapter after that.
  4. Tap Publish serial β€” drop chapter one. The first chapter is released right away and each later chapter is released one day apart.

Your serials appear on My Serials.
