🚪 Quick exit
Someone walked in? Quick exit swaps the page you're on for a plain Google search for "weather today," in one tap. It's for those moments when you need the screen to look boring, fast.
It works on every page of the main CaregiverBabyHub site once you're signed in.
If someone comes in and you want to hide the nursery quick, tap the little 🚪 door at the top. Poof, it's just the weather! Come back whenever you're ready.
Two ways to use it

Hover over the door on a computer and it reminds you: "Quick exit (or press Esc 3 times)."
What happens
- The page goes blank at once and the tab's title changes to "Weather."
- The tab loads a Google search for "weather today."
The tab you were in is replaced, not opened in a new tab, so there's nothing extra left open.
What it doesn't do
Quick exit is about the screen in front of you. It doesn't hide your account in other ways.
- It doesn't sign you out. When you come back to CaregiverBabyHub, you're still signed in.
- It doesn't clear your browser history. The page you exited from is swapped out, so pressing Back on the weather page doesn't return to it. But pressing Back again can reach other CaregiverBabyHub pages you visited earlier in that tab, and they're still in your history.
- It doesn't close your other tabs. Any other CaregiverBabyHub tabs, or other CBH apps like the Diaper Bag and the community, stay as they are.
- It doesn't send anything. Nobody is notified, and nothing is logged.
For real privacy on a shared device, sign out when you're done, use a private or incognito window, or clear your history afterward.
Settings
There's nothing to set up. The 🚪 button and the Esc shortcut are always on for everyone, and the exit page is always the same weather search.
Coming back
Just open CaregiverBabyHub again, from your bookmark, home-screen app, or by typing the address. You'll land where you normally would, still signed in.
Questions
Does it work in the installed phone app? Yes. The door is in the top bar there too. Depending on your phone, the weather search may open inside the app window or in a browser view on top of it.
Is there a quick exit in the other apps? No. The 🚪 door and the Esc shortcut are only on the main CaregiverBabyHub site, not in the Diaper Bag, the community, or the other apps.
