🤖 Discord

Link your CaregiverBabyHub account to the CBH Discord server and the bot can give you roles that match your account, let you log from Discord, and (if you like) send your bells as DMs.

You link from Account → 🔌 Devices → 🤖 Discord on the main site. See Devices for the rest of that tab.

For littles

Link your account and the Discord bot knows it's you! You can tell it about a wet diapie or a yummy drink, say how you're feeling, and ask it how your day is going. Only you can see its answers. 💛

Linking your account​

  1. On the site, go to Account → 🔌 Devices and find the 🤖 Discord card.
  2. Tap Get a link code. You'll see something like /link ABCD2345.
  3. In the CBH Discord, type /link with that code within 15 minutes.
  4. The bot replies "Linked! 💛 Your roles will appear within the hour."
  5. Back on the site, tap I've done it to refresh the card. It now says ✅ Linked.

Good to know:

  • Making a new code cancels any older one.
  • Codes use only letters and numbers that are hard to mix up, so they're easy to type.
  • One Discord account can be linked to one CBH account. If your Discord is already linked to a different CBH account, /unlink it first.
  • If the code has expired, the bot tells you. Make a new one on the site.

Slash commands​

The bot's replies to these commands are private. Only you can see them.

/log​

Pick what happened:

  • 💧 Wet change
  • 💩 Messy change
  • 🌈 Both
  • ✅ Dry check
  • 🥤 A drink

For a drink, you can add ounces (1 to 64). If you leave it out, it logs 8 oz. The bot confirms with a line like "✅ Added 8oz to today's drinks."

Things you log from Discord go into the same logs as the site and are marked as logged from Discord.

/checkin​

Pick a mood: 😊 Happy, 🤩 Excited, 😌 Content, 😣 Fussy, 😟 Anxious, or 😢 Sad. It's saved as your mood check-in, just like on the site.

/me​

Shows today's changes (dry checks don't count), how much you've had to drink, and your star balance. "Today" uses your own time zone.

The bot's other commands​

Anyone in the server can also use /nextevent, /movienight, /join, /tour, /quiz, /prompt and /cbhhelp, which lists what the bot can do.

Your CBH roles​

Once you're linked, the bot gives you roles in the server that start with CBH · and match your account:

HelperCBH · Helper, if you're an active member of the Helpers Guild

How they're chosen:

  • Plan is Premium if you have Premium (paid or gifted), Pro if you have Pro (paid or gifted), and Member otherwise.
  • Side follows the role on your account. Anything other than caregiver, switch or adult wearer shows as Little.
  • Helper is added while you hold any helper role.

Roles sync every hour, and right away when you link. If your plan or role changes on the site, Discord catches up within the hour. The bot only ever touches roles that start with "CBH · ". Any other roles you have in the server are left alone.

Bells as DMs​

When you're linked, the Discord card has a checkbox: Send my caregiver notes, requests and reminders as Discord DMs too.

When it's on, the bot sends you these kinds of bells as DMs:

  • caregiver notes
  • requests
  • reminders
  • rule changes
  • achievements
  • points

How it works:

  • DMs start from the moment you turn the switch on. You won't get a backlog of old bells.
  • The bot checks for new bells about every minute.
  • Quiet hours hold DMs. If you've turned on 🔕 Quiet Hours in your notification settings, DMs wait until quiet hours end, then arrive. See Notifications.
  • If your Discord DMs are closed, nothing is lost. The bell is still on the site.

Turn the checkbox off any time to stop DMs.

Unlinking​

You can unlink from either side:

  • In Discord: type /unlink. Your CBH roles are removed right away.
  • On the site: on the Discord card, tap Unlink and confirm. This stops logging and DMs from Discord, and the bot takes your CBH roles off at its next hourly sync.

You can link again any time with a new code.
