Watching (for caregivers)

The watch page at /watch is where a caregiver sees a little's camera, listens, and comforts them from wherever they are.

Get access​

There are three ways to watch a little's camera:

  • Linked on the main site. If you are linked to the little, their camera is listed automatically.
  • Direct access link. The little copies it from their page and sends it to you once. It carries the little's pairing key.
  • Invite code or link. For anyone not linked. Invites can expire.
  1. Open the link the little sent. If you are signed out, sign in and Monitor brings you back to the invite.
  2. The Monitor Invite screen shows the little's name, the code's label and when it expires.
  3. Tap Accept & Watch Monitor. You see Access Granted! and go to the watch page.

Type an invite code​

  1. Go to Enter Invite Code at /invite.
  2. Type the code the little shared with you and submit it.

If you have no access yet, the watch page says No monitors available with an Enter Invite Code button.

The watch page​

  1. Open 📺 Watch Monitor (or go to /watch).
  2. If you can watch more than one little, tap a name at the top to switch cameras. Cameras you reach through an invite are marked (invite).
  3. The video shows LIVE when the little is broadcasting, Connecting... while it loads, and a "camera is off" note when they have stopped.
  4. If you see 🔊 Tap to hear, tap it. Phones and browsers often block sound until you tap once.

Picture modes​

Use the switch at the top right:

  • 🌞 Normal: no filter.
  • 🌙 Dim: a gentle night tint that is easy on your eyes.
  • 🔦 Boost: brightens a dark room so you can see the little.

Pairing key missing​

If the picture says Pairing key missing (or Encryption key missing), open the invite link or direct access link again on this device. The key travels inside those links.

Talk back and soothe​

These controls appear once you are connected:

  • 🎤 Talk to (the little's name) opens your microphone so they can hear you. Tap 🎤 Stop Talking to end it.
  • 🗣️ Speak: type a message (up to 400 characters) and the little's device reads it aloud.
  • 💬 Quick phrases: one tap sends a ready-made comforting line to be read aloud.
  • Soothing sounds: 🎵 Lullaby, 🌊 White noise, 💗 Heartbeat and 🌧️ Rain. Tap ⏹ Stop sound to end it.
  • 🌀 Start a Vibe sleep program: send a program such as Drift Off or Ocean Lullaby. The little gets a one-tap card that opens it in Vibe.
  • 💤 Lullabies: record your own lullaby and play it on their device. See Bedtime together.

The little's screen always shows what you are doing, so nothing is hidden from them.

Keep the stream steady

Keep both devices on stable Wi-Fi. If the page says Connection wobbled, it rejoins by itself. If it stays on Connecting for a long time, ask the little to stop and restart their monitor.
