Recordings and the check-in log

Monitor is a live view first. Nothing is saved unless a paying caregiver records a clip. What Monitor does keep is a simple log of when a caregiver checked in.

For littles

The πŸ’› Watched over you card shows every time your caregiver peeked in on you. Lots of days in a row make a streak.

Cloud Recordings (Pro and Premium)

Caregivers on Pro or Premium can save short private clips from the watch page.

Record a clip

  1. Connect to the little's monitor on the watch page.
  2. Tap ⏺ Record clip. A ⏺ REC badge shows on the video.
  3. Tap ⏹ Save clip to stop. You see πŸ’Ύ Saving clip… and then βœ… Clip saved!

If your browser cannot record, the page says Recording isn't supported on this browser. Try a current version of Chrome, Edge or Safari.

Watch, mark and delete clips

Saved clips are listed in ☁️ Cloud Recordings at the bottom of the watch page.

  • Tap a clip to play it.
  • While it plays, type an optional note and tap πŸ’– Mark to bookmark that moment. Tap a bookmark later to jump back to it.
  • Delete any clip you do not want to keep.
  • Tap Refresh to load new clips.

On the free tier the card explains the feature and links to the upgrade page.

Check-in Log (caregiver)

Each time you watch a little's monitor, Monitor logs a check-in. The πŸ“– Check-in Log on the watch page shows:

  • Watching now for the session you are in, and Checked in with the length for past ones.
  • A count of check-ins today.
  • On Pro and Premium, two weekly numbers: check-ins this week and time watched together.

Ask the little to check in daily

  1. In the Check-in Log, tap ⏰ Ask (name) to check in daily…
  2. Pick a time and tap Save. The little gets a bell about the new time.
  3. To remove it, open it again and tap Clear.

At that time each day, the little's Monitor page shows a gentle reminder to start the camera, if the page is open on their device.

Watched over you (little)

On the little's page, the πŸ’› Watched over you card appears once a caregiver has checked in or set a check-in time. It shows:

  • recent check-ins with who checked in,
  • a πŸ”₯ day streak when caregivers have checked in on several days in a row,
  • the daily check-in time, if one is set: Your caregiver asks you to check in at a time each day.

Days count on your own clock, not a fixed time zone.
