Alerts & Audio

A few extras make watching over your little more comfortable, day or night.

Motion & Sound Alerts​

Watching the screen every second isn't always possible. Motion & Sound Alerts keep an eye (and ear) out for you and let you know when something happens.

  • On the broadcasting little's dashboard there's an opt-in Alerts toggle. It's off by default and only runs while the monitor is live.
  • Sound alerts listen to the room for loud noise or fussing.
  • Motion alerts notice movement in the camera view.
  • When something triggers, the watching caregiver sees it in a Recent Alerts list on the watch page (refreshed automatically), so you can glance over and check in.
Privacy first

Alert detection runs only while the monitor is live, and is something the little (or their caregiver on the broadcasting device) chooses to turn on. Like the video itself, it isn't recorded.

Two-Way Audio & Remote Soothe​

Sometimes a little just needs to hear their caregiver. From the watch page you can comfort them without leaving your seat:

  • Talk-back — open a voice channel so your little can hear you speak through their device.
  • Remote soothe — tap Lullaby or White noise to gently start a calming sound on the little's device, or Stop to end it.

The little's screen shows a soft indicator (Caregiver talking, Lullaby, or White noise) so they always know what's happening. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted.

Night Mode​

The watch page has a Night Mode toggle that dims the screen and softens the colors for low-light viewing — ideal for checking on a sleeping little without a bright screen lighting up the room.

Multiple Cameras​

If you care for more than one little, you can hold access to several cameras at once (through linking or separate invite codes). Tabs at the top of the watch page let you switch between them, so you can glance from one nap to another in seconds.

Live View Only​

Monitor is designed as a real-time window, not a recorder:

  • There's no saved footage — you see the stream only while your little is broadcasting.
  • When the little stops the monitor, the feed shows Camera is off.
  • All video stays end-to-end encrypted the whole time.
Keep the connection healthy

For the smoothest stream, keep both devices on a stable Wi-Fi connection. If the view says Connecting… for a while, ask your little to stop and restart the monitor.
