Safety and privacy in the Parlor

The Parlor is built so that you stay in control of who learns what about you.

For littles

Only your alias is shown, and only after you both say yes. If anyone makes you feel bad, tap 🚫 Block, and tell the matchmaker with 🚩 Report.

Every member is reviewed

Every member confirms they are 18 or older, finishes the safety courses, and is reviewed by a person before they can be introduced to anyone.

What others can see

Shown to an introduction after you both say yesNever shown to other members
Your display aliasYour real first name
Your roleYour age and region
The dossier and report for the two of youThe age range you are looking for
The messages you sendAnything you wrote only for your matchmaker
Your main-site username

Before you both say yes, the other person sees only the matchmaker's reason for the introduction, not your alias.

Your check-in answers after an introduction go to your matchmaker only.

Get verified (optional)

A short video hello with the matchmaker puts a βœ“ badge next to your alias on every introduction you are in.

  1. On the Parlor home, find Get verified βœ“ and tap Request.
  2. When your call is booked, the card says Your verification call is booked. At the time, tap πŸ“Ή Join. The call opens at /verify.
  3. Show your face on camera for about two minutes.

The call is one-way: you share your camera and mic, and the matchmaker uses voice only. The call is not recorded.

Report someone

  1. In the introduction chat, tap 🚩 Report.
  2. Choose a reason: Pressured me to share personal info, Made me uncomfortable, Seems underage, Spam or fake profile, Harassment or hateful content, or Something else.
  3. Send it. Reports are confidential and go straight to the matchmaker's team.

For anything urgent, you can also contact the help desk at caregiverbabyhub.com/support.

Block someone

Tap 🚫 Block in the chat. They are removed from your matches, cannot see or message you, and will never be suggested to you again.

If you want to end all contact with someone, use Block, not πŸ’” Unmatch.

Meeting in person

The optional Meeting Safely course covers this in detail. In short: meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you will be, and do not share your address until you are sure.
