The Room

The Room is daycare's live, interactive playspace — where the day actually happens. Tap Enter the room from the lobby to join.

The Scene​

The room shows everyone who's present and the current activity stage, complete with its theme emoji. Recent chat appears as floating speech bubbles above members, so the space feels alive.

Activities​

Each block of the day has an activity you can open and play:

  • Easel drawing, sing-along, freeze-dance, calendar & weather, name games, and more
  • Tap the activity to open its interactive modal
  • Completing activities earns you stickers and XP toward your day

Reactions & Chat​

  • Reactions — quick emoji buttons (🎉 👏 😂 and more) send floating reactions everyone can see.
  • Chat dock — a shared text chat with two streams: Chat (between littles and attendants) and Announcements (system messages about transitions, check-outs, and so on).
  • Right-click (or long-press) a message to report it to the attendants.
Keeping the room gentle

To keep things friendly, littles may be given a short time-out for using bad words or for leaving the tab for too long. Attendants moderate the room and can lift time-outs.

Nap Time​

During nap (around midday), the room darkens and a lullaby plays. It's a quiet block to rest before the afternoon activities begin.

Other Controls​

  • Camera grid — optionally show video feeds of everyone present.
  • Sound toggle — mute the chimes and lullaby if you'd like quiet.
  • Hub picker — switch regions without leaving the room.
  • Closed state — outside opening hours the room shows "resting" with a countdown to the next opening.
