Attendant Station

The Attendant Station is the caregiver's side of Daycare. On duty, you look after every little in your hub's room, not just the ones linked to you.

Open the station

If your CaregiverBabyHub account is set up as a caregiver, tap Attendant in the lobby's top bar. The station lives at daycare.caregiverbabyhub.com/cg.

Other members can open that address too and help out. The page notes that their account isn't set as a caregiver.

Go on duty

  1. Check that the station shows the right hub. It says which session you're running. Use the hub button to cover another region's room.
  2. Tap Go on duty. This puts you on the day's register as an attendant, the same as checking in from the lobby.
  3. Tap Clock out when you're done.

Littles see you listed under Attendants in Who's here today, and your avatar appears in the room with an attendant marker.

Littles who need a grown-up

When any little has stepped away from the room, a Littles who need a grown-up box appears at the top. It shows each little's name and why they stepped away, like Diaper change or Potty. Littles linked to you have a yellow heart.

Littles today

This list shows every little on today's register in your hub, plus any of your linked littles who haven't arrived yet. Each card shows a status:

  • In: the current activity, when they're in the room
  • Here
  • Away: with the reason
  • Went home
  • Not here yet

Littles who need attention are listed first, then yours, then the rest.

Read a little's report card and leave a note

  1. Tap Report card on a little's card. It's there once they've come in today.
  2. Read their day so far.
  3. Under Leave a note on their day, type a short note (up to 280 characters), like "Shared so nicely at circle time!"
  4. Tap Add note.

Your note shows on their report card, in their take-home folder under Notes from the attendants, and on their daily sheet.

Pin a drop-off note (linked littles only)

For a little who is linked to you on CaregiverBabyHub:

  1. Tap Drop-off on their card.
  2. Type a note for their day (up to 240 characters), like "She's sleepy today, extra gentle please."
  3. Tap Pin note.

The drop-off note shows on the little's check-in card and to attendants on duty. Pinning again replaces today's note. When you and your linked little are both on the register in the same hub, the card shows a pink double heart for attending together.

The helper desk

Room helpers are trusted members who help keep the room kind. Only a site admin can make someone a helper.

If you're a helper, open daycare.caregiverbabyhub.com/helper to see reports littles have sent from the room's chat. For each report:

  • Tap Sorted it if something was done about it.
  • Tap Nothing in it if there was nothing to act on.

The reporter isn't told who decided. If you aren't a helper, the page just says there's nothing for you there.
