Check-in and check-out

Checking in puts you on the day's register so everyone knows you're here. It also starts your report card for the day.

For littles

Tap I'm here! when you come to daycare. If you need a diaper change or a snack, tap Step away in the room and pick why. Tap I'm back! when you come back.

Check in​

  1. Open the lobby.
  2. On the check-in card, tap the big button:
    • Littles tap I'm here!
    • Attendants tap Go on duty
  3. The card changes to "You're checked in!"

Checking in earns a little XP toward your level. The Who's here today card next to it lists the littles and attendants on today's register in your hub.

Streaks​

Each day in a row you check in adds to your streak. The check-in card shows your current streak and, if it's higher, your best one. The first time you reach 7, 14, 30, 50, or 100 days, a little celebration pops up.

Drop-off notes and attending together​

If you're linked to a caregiver on CaregiverBabyHub:

  • Your caregiver can pin a short drop-off note to your day from the Attendant Station, like "She's sleepy today, extra gentle please." It shows on your check-in card.
  • When you and your linked person are both checked in to the same hub on the same day, your card shows Attended together today, with a count of how many days you've done it.

Step away for a moment​

When you need a break during the day, you don't have to check out. Inside the room:

  1. Tap Step away at the top of the room.
  2. Pick a reason: Diaper change, Potty, Snack / Drink, Paci / blankie, With my caregiver, or Be right back. For anything else, type it under Something else and tap Go.
  3. Miss Daisy tells the room where you went, and your picture in the room shows that you're away.
  4. When you're back, tap I'm back! The room hears that you're back.

Attendants on duty see who has stepped away, and why, at the top of the Attendant Station.

Go home​

You can leave in two ways:

  • Check out yourself. Tap Check out on the lobby's check-in card.
  • Stay until closing. At 5:00 PM in your hub, everyone still checked in is checked out for you, and the room closes for the night.

Littles who finished every block of the day get bonus XP for perfect attendance at closing. Your report card, take-home folder, and daily sheet are ready after that. See Report cards and daily sheets.
