Sleepover Rooms

A 🛏️ Sleepover Room lets several people drift off together. Everyone in the room hears the exact same sounds at the same moment. Nothing is streamed: each device plays the sounds itself, kept in step by the room.

Caregivers can use a room to tuck in one or more littles. Friends can use one to wind down together.

For littles

A sleepover room is like a slumber party! Everyone hears the same sleepy sounds at the same time, and you can whisper goodnight.

You need to be signed in to host or join a room. Anyone can see the list of public rooms.

Host a sleepover​

  1. Open 🛏️ Sleepover Rooms from the chips on the home page. Caregivers can also tap 🛏️ Sleepover on the My littles page.
  2. Under 🛏️ Host a sleepover, give the room a name, or keep the suggested one.
  3. Under We'll all listen to…, choose a sleep program, one of your Dream Weaver programs, a free preset mix, or one of your saved mixes.
  4. To let anyone find it, tick 🌍 List publicly so anyone can wander in. Leave it unticked to keep the room invite-only.
  5. Tap 🛏️ Open the room.

Your room gets a five-letter code. Tap the code at the top of the room to copy it and send it to your guests.

If you leave and your room is still open, the Sleepover Rooms page shows Your room "name" is still open with a ↩ Rejoin button.

Join a sleepover​

  • With a code: under 🔑 Join with a code, type the five-letter code and tap 🚪 Join.
  • Public room: under 🌍 Open public rooms, tap 🚪 Join next to a room.

When you arrive, tap ✨ Tap to listen together to start the sound on your device. (Browsers need a tap before they can play audio.)

Each person in the room appears as a little star drifting across the night sky, in the same spot on everyone's screen.

Inside the room​

  • Sleep program rooms wait for the host. Guests see "Waiting for the host to begin… get comfy 🧸." Once it starts, everyone sees the program name, the current phase, time left and the words for that phase.
  • Mix rooms play the chosen ambient mix and list its sounds.

Host controls​

Only the host sees 🌟 Host controls:

  • ▶ Begin for everyone starts a sleep program for the whole room at once.
  • ⏸ Pause all and ▶ Resume all pause or resume everyone's sound.
  • Lights change the room's sky: 🌟 Starry, 🌑 Dim or 🌄 Dawn.
  • Switch the ambient mix changes everyone's sound to a free preset or one of your saved mixes.
  • 💤 End sleepover closes the room for everyone.

Whisper chat​

Use 🤫 Whisper chat to send short messages (up to 200 characters) to everyone in the room. Chat closes when a sleep program reaches its final phase, so the room can settle into quiet.

When it ends​

When the program finishes or the host ends the sleepover, everyone sees "Goodnight, everyone 💤." Tap 🌙 Tiptoe out to go back to the rooms list.

To leave early on your own, tap 🚪 Leave. Your sound stops, and the room keeps going for everyone else.

If a code doesn't work, you'll see "This room has gone to sleep." The code may be wrong, or the sleepover has ended.
