Reading & Reactions

Open any headline to read the full story.

The Article Pageโ€‹

An article shows its headline, a one-line summary, and the body laid out for easy reading, along with the byline, date, edition, and an estimated read time. If the writer added an author's note ("Why I wrote this"), it appears in a sidebar.

Reactingโ€‹

At the bottom of each article you can:

  • โค๏ธ React โ€” tap the heart to show some love ("N littles loved this")
  • ๐Ÿ”– Bookmark โ€” save it to your clippings for later

Pollsโ€‹

Some articles include a reader poll. Cast your vote and you'll see the live results with each option's percentage. It's a fun way to weigh in on a story.

Lettersโ€‹

Below the article you can read letters to the editor about that story and add your own. See Letters to the Editor for how that works.
