Toybox, Play Pass, and the daily puzzle

These are the little things that give you a reason to pop into the Playroom every day. All of them are free.

Tap the Toy Chest in a room to look for toys. You can find up to 3 a day! Try to finish your four Play Pass goals too.

Find toys for your Toybox

There are 24 toys to collect: common, uncommon, rare, and two legendary ones, the Golden Teddy and the Falling-Star Mobile.

1. Go into any hangout room.
2. Tap the room's Toy Chest station. Each room's chest has its own name, like the Toy Chest, the Beach Bucket, or the Treasure Chest.
3. Sometimes a toy drops out and goes into your Toybox.

You can get up to 3 toy drops a day. The daily count is kept on the device you're playing on. Finding a toy you've never had before earns a little XP.

Look at your Toybox

Open The Toybox from the front page.

• Toys you've found show in color with a count of how many you have.
• Toys you haven't found yet show as mystery shapes.
• The top of the page shows how many toys you've found and how many lucky finds you have left today.

Trade duplicate toys

You can swap a toy you have two or more of with someone in the same room. You never give away your last copy of anything.

1. In a hangout room, tap Trading Post.
2. To make an offer, pick one of your duplicates. You can have one offer up per room.
3. To take someone's offer, pick one of your own duplicates to give them. It has to be a different toy from the one they're offering.
4. The swap happens right away for both of you.

Finish today's Play Pass

The Today's Play Pass card on the front page has four small goals:

1. Color a picture.
2. Play a doodle round.
3. Find a toy.
4. Pop some bubbles.

Finish all four in a day to grow your day streak. Your Play Pass progress and streak are saved on the device you play on, so they won't carry over if you switch phones or computers.

Solve the Naptime Puzzle

The Naptime Puzzle is one short puzzle a day, and it's the same for everyone. A new one starts each day at midnight UTC (8 pm Eastern during daylight time). The format rotates between Sleepy Scramble, Emoji Rebus, and Spot the Paci.

1. Tap the puzzle card on the front page.
2. Answer all six rounds.
3. Tap Finish nap to submit.

You get one try per day. When you finish, you'll see the answers, a results board showing how everyone did (no names), and a Copy share card button that shares your score without spoiling the answers.

Join the Playground Podium

The Playground Podium is a friendly XP leaderboard shared by all the companion apps. You only appear on it if you choose to.

1. Open Playground Podium from the front page.
2. Pick a display name and an emoji.
3. Tap Join the podium.

Switch between This App, All Apps, and This Week to see different standings. To change your name or emoji, edit them and tap Save changes. To disappear from the board, tap Leave the podium.
