Check-ups and comfort prescriptions

The Check-Up page is a pretend exam room. Anyone can hop on the table for a cozy check-up with Nurse Luna. Caregivers with a linked little can also book visits, run a check-up based on their little's real week, and write gentle comfort prescriptions.

The Check-Up Room is pretend play for consenting adults. It's not medical care or advice.

🍼For littles

Nurse Luna gives you a gentle check-up. You get measured, listen to your heart, and pick a sticker and a lollipop at the end. If your caregiver writes you a prescription, tap a bubble each time you take a dose.

Have a check-up with Nurse Luna

Nurse Luna is the clinic's moon nurse. Her lines are written in advance and she guides you step by step.

1. Open Check-Up from the clinic menu.
2. Scroll down to the exam room.
3. Follow Nurse Luna through each step:
   1. Slide the measuring stick up to your head to see how much you've grown.
   2. Wait while the pretend thermometer "thinks."
   3. Tap the big heart along with your heartbeat.
   4. Tap the feathers for a reflex and giggle check.
   5. Pick a prize sticker and a lollipop.
4. Your visit is saved to My Record.

You don't need an appointment. If your caregiver booked you a visit for today, the page tells you, and finishing the check-up marks it as attended.

A check-up feeds your Comfort Buddy and earns XP. Pro and Premium members can also tap Get an AI nurse's note for my record to add a short note, written by a computer model from the playful check-up values. You can add one later from My Record too.

Book a visit for your little (caregivers)

Caregivers with a linked little see an appointment book at the top of the Check-Up page.

1. Choose which little the visit is for.
2. Pick a date.
3. Add a note if you like, such as "Time for your monthly growth check."
4. Tap Book & tell them. Your little gets a notification.

Your little also gets a reminder the day before. If the day passes without a check-up, the visit is marked missed and your little gets one gentle nudge to come back. You can cancel an upcoming visit from the list.

Free caregivers can have one upcoming booking at a time. Pro and Premium caregivers can book as many as they like.

Run a check-up on your little's week (caregivers)

The caregiver check-up turns your little's actual week into friendly exam-room readings.

1. In Run a real checkup on your little, choose your little.
2. Tap Begin exam.
3. Look over the readings:
   • Listening: a little chart of their mood through the week.
   • Temperature: their average energy.
   • Growth chart: their check-in streak and their Comfort Buddy's stage.
   • The feelings they've named and the comfort sessions they've done.
4. Write your loving summary.
5. Pick a bravery sticker and a lollipop.
6. Tap File report & tell them. The report goes onto your little's record and they get a notification.

Write a comfort prescription (caregivers)

Comfort prescriptions are gentle care instructions, like "Two big hugs, twice daily." The prescription pad is on the clinic front page for caregivers with a linked little.

1. Choose the patient.
2. Tap a ready-made one from the quick refill pad, or type your own.
3. Pick a label sticker emoji.
4. Add gentle instructions if you like.
5. Choose dose times: Morning, Midday, and Evening.
6. Choose how long: Ongoing, or 3, 5, 7, or 14 days. For a set number of days, you can also add refills.
7. Tap Prescribe & tell them. Your little gets a notification.

Below the pad you'll see the prescriptions you've written, with how many doses were taken this course or this week. Tap Retire to stop a prescription. Recently retired ones are listed below, and you can bring one back. You can also refill a finished course to start a fresh one today.

Take your doses (littles)

Your prescriptions show on the clinic front page as dose bubbles.

1. Tap the next bubble each time you take a dose.
2. When you finish the last dose of the day, your caregiver gets a notification and you earn XP.

Use the Medicine Cabinet (littles)

On the Check-Up page, the Medicine Cabinet shows each prescription as a little bottle on a shelf. You can tap doses there too; they're the same doses as on the front page, so nothing counts twice. When a course finishes and has refills left, tap Pick up your refill to start a new course.
