Suggesting edits and history

The Library's articles are looked after by its librarians (the site admins). Members cannot change an article directly, but anyone signed in can suggest a fix.

Suggest an edit

1. Sign in and open the article.
2. Tap 📝 Suggest an edit under the article. The page Suggesting an edit opens.
3. Change the title, summary or content. The content uses Markdown: start a line with ## for a section heading. A live preview shows how it will look.
4. Add a Note to the librarians (optional) explaining what you changed and why.
5. Tap 📝 Suggest this edit. You see Thank you — your suggestion was sent for review!

A librarian reviews each suggestion and approves or rejects it. Approved changes go live on the article.

Only librarians can start a brand-new article. If you think a topic is missing, mention it in the note on a suggested edit to a related article.

Revision history

Articles that a librarian has edited carry the ✏️ community-edited tag and a View history link.

1. Tap View history to open Revision history. Each revision shows when it was saved and its edit summary.
2. Tap Compare to previous on a revision to see what changed, line by line. Tap Hide diff to close it.

Articles that have never been edited (📗 core article) have no history yet.

Article of the Week

The ⭐ Article of the Week on the home page rotates every Monday. Librarians can also choose one by hand.
