Progress & Rewards
Schoolhouse has a built-in progression system with XP, streaks, and a rewards page to keep you motivated and celebrate your learning.
XP (Experience Points)
You earn XP every time you complete a lesson week. The amount depends on how well you did on the quiz and whether you attempted the challenge section.
Your total XP is displayed:
- On the Schoolhouse home page (big badge)
- On the Progress page
- On your profile card
XP never resets — it's a cumulative measure of everything you've learned.
Daily Streak
Your streak counts how many consecutive days you've completed at least one lesson.
- 🔥 Current Streak — days in a row since your last break
- 🏆 Longest Streak — your personal best all-time streak
Your streak resets to 0 if you go a full day without completing any lesson. Do at least one lesson per day to keep it going!
Both streak values are shown on the Schoolhouse home page and the Progress page.
Progress Page
Click Progress in the Schoolhouse navbar to see a detailed breakdown of your learning history:
- Total XP earned — lifetime XP across all courses
- Current and longest streak
- Weeks completed — total lessons finished across all courses
- Course-by-course breakdown — progress bars for each enrolled course
- Recent activity — a log of recently completed lessons
Rewards Page
Click Rewards in the Schoolhouse navbar to browse your earned rewards. As you hit milestones, special rewards unlock:
- 🌟 Star stickers for completing lesson milestones
- 🏅 Special badges for streaks (7 days, 30 days, etc.)
- 🎓 Completion badges for finishing all 52 weeks of a course
Rewards are purely celebratory — they're a way to show off your hard work and dedication.
Star Ratings
After completing a lesson quiz, your performance is rated:

|---|---|
| ⭐ | 0–59% |
| ⭐⭐ | 60–79% |
| ⭐⭐⭐ | 80–100% |
Three-star ratings earn the most XP. You can retake a lesson to try for a higher star rating, but XP is only awarded once per lesson.
